The Microwave Bump Out Kit is used to secure the appliance to cabinets above the range with depths measuring 15". This accessory is designed to be used in select conventional microwave hoods and low-profile microwave hoods; check to see if your model is compatible. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance, and novice repair experience. You must unplug the microwave or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this accessory.
